The 13th China-ASEAN Expo opened on Sunday in Nanning, capital city of China's southern Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.

"The China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) Vietnam Exhibition 2016 will provide an opportunity for the businesses of Vietnam and China to strengthen cooperation and exchanges," said Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Do Thang Hai on Thursday.

Ant Financial Services Group, the financial arm of Alibaba Group Holding Ltd, will acquire a 20percent stake in Ascend Money, an online payment service provider in Thailand, according to theMinistry of Commerce.
